Recently, Tongyu Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. delivered a 125MN large-scale forging crankshaft to Hubei Shenli Forging Co., Ltd. This project not only sets a new production record for Tongyu Heavy Industry in the field of ultra-large forgings, but also demonstrates the "accelerated pace" of its high-end equipment manufacturing with a breakthrough efficiency of "95-day early delivery against a committed 115-day schedule".
The eccentric crankshaft delivered this time is a key component of the largest tonnage hot die forging press currently manufactured by Tongyu Heavy Industry. It will be applied to the ten-thousand-ton die forging press of Hubei Shenli Forging Co., Ltd., supporting the automated production of critical components in China's high-end automotive equipment sector.
By virtue of lean management throughout the entire process, Tongyu Heavy Industry compressed the original 115-day production cycle to 95 days, achieving delivery 20 days ahead of schedule and setting a new record for delivery speed of similar products. The project team achieved triple breakthroughs in "quality, efficiency, and cost" through process innovation, digital collaboration, and 24-hour continuous operation, establishing a benchmark for the localization of ultra-large forgings. It overcame multiple technical barriers such as the forming of eccentric structures with ultra-large cross-sections, and the comprehensive performance of the product has reached a leading domestic level.
On March 2, 2025, Zhang Zhaode, Vice Chairman of China Forging Association and Chairman of Hubei Shenli Forging Co., Ltd., led a team to Tongyu Heavy Industry to attend the delivery ceremony of the 125MN crankshaft. Ni Hongyun, Deputy General Manager of Tongyu Heavy Industry, Zhang Jisen, Chief Scheduling Officer, Yue Shuguo, Deputy General Manager of the Forging Division, Wang Yubin, Director of the High-End Equipment Factory, and other officials participated in the event.
