The Third Congress of the trade union of Tongyu Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was held ceremoniously

      On the afternoon of April 16, 2021, the Third Congress of the trade union of Tongyu Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was solemnly held. The meeting was presided over by Li Song, a member of the Party committee and deputy general manager. Si Yong, director, and general manager of the company, Liao Mao, Secretary of the Party committee, and executive deputy general manager of the company attended the meeting. Yang Xin, Secretary of the Party group and chairman of the trade union of Yucheng Federation of trade unions were invited to attend the meeting.

      The conference opened with the solemn national anthem. At the meeting, Liu Cuihua, deputy secretary of the Party committee and chairman of the last trade union read out the reply of the higher-level trade union organizations to agree to the general election. Liao Mao, Secretary of the Party committee and executive deputy general manager delivered a speech and wished the conference a complete success.

      Comrade Liu Cuihua, chairman of the second session of the trade union, made a work report on behalf of the second session of the trade union committee and reported on the work of the last session of the trade union.

      By the relevant requirements of “The Trade Union Law” and “The Constitution of the Chinese Trade Union”, the meeting, in the spirit of fairness, justice, and openness, elected Liu Cuihua as the chairman and Li Min as the vice-chairman of the third session of the Trade Union Committee through directly elected, and elected Wang Longfei, Wang Chengye, Shi Feng, Qin Shiwei and Li Xiangwen as members of the Trade Union Committee through multi-candidate election; elected Wang Longfei as the director of the Audit Committee, Han Tengfei and Li Jian as members of the Audit Committee, Li Min as the director of the Women's Work Committee, and members Li Sha and Zhang Chunhuan as members of the Women's Work Committee through the single-candidate election.

      Liu Cuihua, the elected chairman of the third trade union committee, made a statement. She said that the new trade union committee will live up to its mission, strive to improve its quality, continuously improve its service function, fulfill its duties, and strive to build the trade union into an organization that truly represents the interests of employees, an organization worthy of the trust of enterprises and employees, and make new contributions to the development of enterprises.

      Comrade Yang Xin, Secretary of the Party group and chairman of the trade union of Yucheng Federation of trade unions delivered a warm speech, congratulating the newly elected members of the trade union team, fully affirming the work of the last session of the trade union of Tongyu heavy industry, and putting forward ardent hopes and requirements for the third session of the Committee.

      Si Yong, the director, and general manager of the company delivered an important speech on behalf of the board of directors and the general manager office team, expressing gratitude and affirmation for the work of the last trade union, and congratulating the leading group of the new trade union committee. General manager Si Yong stressed that the new trade union should continue to organize and educate workers to exercise democratic rights by the law, play the role of masters, lead workers to participate in the construction and management of the company through various ways and forms, play the role of bridge and link, safeguard the Democratic concentration system of trade unions in strict accordance with the relevant provisions of “The trade union law”, and actively support trade unions to boldly carry out their work. It is hoped that the new trade union committee will conscientiously perform its duties, conscientiously strengthen its construction, constantly explore and innovate, and make new and greater contributions to the development of the Tongyu cause.
